Thanks Marc
There are down sides though.
When I was using her -
I did approx £63 a week on fuel
My rear tires were finished in about 3K miles
I was nicked after 3 months of driving her and banned 6 months later

Wondered how long it would take for the 106GTi debate to be put in here

It bothered me that you took the time to log in to the site to be honest.

haha it just seems that people cant have a debate without the 106GTi getting thrown in.
i think everytime the 106gti gets thrown in im gonna throw a random car in just for a laugh.

To be fair, in this instance Steve was comparing the MG to it because he has experience with driving a 106 GTi.
Maybe someone who wasn't Steve would have got away with it.

its because 106 gti / vts are good little cars, they handle well and are very quick for a out of the box car..
my vts did 30- 92ish in 11 seconds...
my upra does 40 - 90 in 7 as you can see there isn't much between them and look at the power difference

I've already trimmed this thread once and I don't want to do it again.
106 and MG are similar cars, hence the link. You will notice that the poster has direct experience with the car he is discussing, which wouldn't be the case if you throw in random cars as proposed, which I suggest you don't.

Its nearly everything we speek about that a 106 GTI or A Saxo VTS get mentioned my mate who used to own a VTS sold it after 2 weeks of owning it because it felt like he was driveing a tin can and he swapped his saxo VTS for a 1.8 160 ZR and its a great little car and handles really good with AVO springs
