Corsa C?!
They'l be wanting the car taken into the dealer for a check over, if the part is found to be a faulty one changed free of charge.
Get on the blower, ring up and set a date for it to be checked!

2 December 2007
On 25 April 2007, Watchdog reported that despite a recall of more than 200,000 cars to repair a dangerous fault, some Vauxhall Corsas were still catching fire.
Vauxhall's statement
"Earlier this year Vauxhall completed its investigation into thermal incidents involving the previous generation Corsa and its derivatives.
"These investigations have confirmed that vehicles that had previously undergone the recall rectification of the engine wiring harness have an extremely low risk of a thermal incident.
"The safety and quality of Vauxhall products remains our highest priority. We therefore consider any fault unacceptable. As a result, further design improvements were identified to address this condition.
"Upon further technical evaluation and additional testing, it was determined that new components were needed, including an ABS controller and cover assembly. These new components are now available and we are now ready to announce our planned recall.
"Vauxhall is contacting owners by letter from Friday 14 December 2007, recognising that a recall of this size must be completed in phases to ensure proper care of its customers, who are advised to continue using their vehicles in the normal manner.
"We would ask customers to please wait for their recall letter, which will request that they contact their retailer to make an appointment. This will ensure their vehicle is reworked quickly and efficiently in line with the phased programme.
"Corsa owners with concerns about their car or the recall plan should call customer services on 0845 090 2044 or email vauxhall.customerassistance@uk.gm.com."
