Not keen on the newer facelifted models but loved the older ones. They were gorgeous looking and weren't exactly slow. 250+bhp as standard or sumit.

Good choice Roberto
Engine wise the difference between the 210 & 225 is minimal tbh, the first thing to do is have it remapped by custom code in Duntocher. There having a special offer just now with 30% off all remaps which is a total bargin. You would be lookin at 260bhp then
Get onto Seatcupra.net for all the info you'll ever need

Didnt you sell the Ibiza because you said bits kept on breaking?
The Leon will be no different going by that theory.
But i think they are cracking cars! I have a 225 TT now, same engine, but with Quattro!
CC is an option, just down the road from me. Or Revo from Drivers in Glasgow, or Star in Glenrothes.

When you go, get someone with VAGCOM to check it out, make sure nothing obvious is wrong with it registering fault codes. Check the MAF is making the numbers it should too.

Quattro makes all the difference when racing LCRs!!
The 210 engine is stronger than the 225 if your thinking of modding it, the 210 has thicker conrods i believe

Yeah it bogs down off the line then suffers heavy transmission loss at speed
Only advantage id see would be wet/slippy road conditions.

You know what I considered putting them on here as well and though no-one would be interested. I got £400 for them with all nuts, caps, center caps and lock nut/key set. No tyres, just wheels.
They did need a refurb but not due to kerbing, as the standard finish of the wheels is shit and peels over time. (Common prob). A referb would have them better than new.
The wheels are £355 (no tyre) each from a dealer , so I think the guy got a bargain for the 4.
