is it ilegal to do? i mean program the car to show less miles? I am aware its illegal to sell the car if you know its been done but unaware of the law of performing it.

no not illegal, but is it, if your doing it to help the sale of a car, from what ive heard

sure i seen something about it on tv or read it somewhere..

Wonder why it is so commonly advertised this mileage correction ?? surely there cant be that many new cars all been fitted with new clocks requiring the milage to be corrected ??!!

its only illegal if you sell the car knowing full well that its done 60k and its showing 30k and you sell it as genuine millage
