I doubt that very much, my car was purchased through a Vx dealer and that still had recall work that needed doing.

My Corsa (W reg- 2000!!!) Had seat belt tensioner work outstanding from 2001... which was done in 2006

My local garage where gf got hers from have rang twice for her to fetch the car in to be checked over!

Both times not requiring anything done.

i have a list of audi ones 2 pages long, so yes, theres a few for all manufacturers

The VAG 6 speed box is not the best.

They told me they fix loads even after warrenty's becuase they know the synchro's fail.As did mine.Not a recall but can you blame them?

i know you say this, but i never hear of the o2m box going they are generally pretty strong, jr can you confirm anything on this?

now if we're talking 106gti gearboxes

Thats only becuase they all get driven at 6,000rpm all day

It's exactly the same issue, the bit of heatshrink tubing made no difference before, they were still going on fire, this is the proper fix for it.
