On the never never (finance) and after two days found absoulty loads wrong with it, it just passed a MOT the day i got it but how it did ill never know, its not safe to be on the road and for this reason i do not want this car anymore, i understand the garage will offer to do the work but i simply dont want the headache!

In my contract for my finance it says I can not cancel at any time but surly I can as the car is unroadworthy for a start!

Anybody clue me up? Many Thanks!

Pay £40 to have it MOTd somewhere else, show the fail sheet to the garage and demand your money back as the car isn't fit for purpose.

Make sure they pay the money for the MOT too.

Ring Citizens Advice tomorrow, they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

take it back to the garage and leave it till its fixed,

I thought its illegal for a garage to sell an unroadworthy car? wouldnt that make the contract void?

yeh trade description act states the car needs to be fit for the use it was bought for...if its unroadworthy...take it back n ask for any finance to be canceled and deposit back...if not threaten small claims
