How strong are they? I know people that have used them in xe's and v6's but i want to know if anyone has used them in a LET conversion and how they hold up?

yes, know a lad who uses them on a 400bhp LET, and it get abused at the pod, and also ran in ten-of-the-best..

and they've not snapped yet

I run them and have run 480lb/ft of torque through them, yet people will tell you that you cant even run a standard 2lt 16v on them with out breaking them.

Only thing I did break was a outer cv joint on the rollers the minute I hit the nitrous, not an experience i want to re-live.

pressed the nitrous button and the cv snaped an full locked the steering over to the right while at full bore with sparks everywhere. It nearly broke my arm it snapped it over so fast.

So we agree there strong enough for a LET then? if they take the power of a 2ltr and torque of a v6 then i don't see why not. Worth a try i suppose!

Yes in my opinion, also all this about V6's making amazing torque, they dont really a LET will make a hell of a lot more.
