Perhaps the Corsa was already expensive enough without a flash back box

Tis expensive.

Actually, not heard a standard VXR Corsa at full chat yet. Does it give the same "cat hissing" noise the astra gives at full throttle.

Had the rear seats down the other day (uknow, for weight saving (that police post ages ago)) as we had too much shopping. The car sounded SO much louder!!!! REally pissed off cat.

Standard for standard the Astra is louder on the induction side, but they're both pretty much the same exhaust note wise.

Apparently a simple panel filter change makes the induction noise better, and obviously the Remus exhaust would make it sound amazing for either

Yeah you get the same noise and when you whisper 'waaaaaaaa', but louder.

Almost hissy, urgent type of wind noise.

Robin, inducation noise? Seriously, never heard any from the astra. Its all exhaust hissing. Although you do get a little "ptishhhh" dump between gearchanges. But you can't hear it if you do the window down. And only the driver hears it. Think the standard DV must be near the driver.

Dunno, only open the bonnet to check oil.... Sometimes
