A record for the hot hatch class of which it yet to be bettered by any marque....

Focus ST done a 8.51. Not bad you say, but then the Zafira VXR (yup, 7 seater people carrier) done it in 8.54

I think £2k more is expensive, particular when you consider it still doesn't have nav pre-programmed to take you there. Missed opportunity IMO.

Wheels - £1000
Exhaust - £850 (Cat back im presuming).
Buckets - £1500 (got to think Vauxhall prices here).
Carbon Fake tat - £?? (But bear in mind, the crappy Irmscher "carbon" dash kit for a Corsa B was like £300 odd).
White paint - £300?
Tyres - £500+?

BUT

Its a good car, but i'd personnally be more inclined to go buy a 2nd hand VXR, put some buckets, some BLACK wheels (Its a track car, white wheels = nightmare to clean), an uprated suspension kit (very suprised they haven't at least put lower springs), a stage 2 upgrade, and some 4 pots (again, should be standard on this model), and the nice little nurbergring touches.

Its a good car, but current price is a bit unreal. It needs more spec, and less weight.

It looks nothing like the 888

Different bodykit, different engine, different brakes, different suspension, different interior?

Its a re-coloured VXR with different colour wheels basically on the outside.
