and come to think of it petrol vapour is harder to clear from an enclosed space as it is denser than air, whereas Hydrogen isn't

plus Hydrogen has only one by-product from burning? Water! which tends to put the fire out in the first place

Unless it ignites something during explosion other than the Hydrogen gas
