basically to cut it short, i am an electrician. I got approached 5 months ago by a man who was setting up on his own and wanted to emply me, basically load of false promises, he said he would pay for my testing course as soon as i started . Nothing happened then i made a phone call to local college and they had one placement left, so i took it. I told my boss and he was ok, untill today when he was meant to pay, i enrolled on the course last week for £525 I have to pay the money by tomorrow, he basically said he isnt paying it .
hes been ripping me off with my hours deducting them as he likes
he said he is going to pay me off the tracker , but wont include the tracker report with my wage slips.
He pays me weekly, but gives me o/t at end of every month inc 4 wage slips in one go at end of month.
I am waiting for a call off the union tomorrow morning. but seen as though hes screwed me for months i want to return the favour. I am thinking of going sick till after xmas. I have had 4 days of in the past 5 years sick, i hate people who pull sickys and it annoys me, but the only way to get to my boss is through his pocket.
advice please

i could quit and get a job tomorrow, but its a principle thing now. No i have nothing in writing except a witness who i work with who heard him say it, he even give me course books

wel thatsa start with the course books, im not sure who you can go to !
id say look for another job as soon as you have an interview and confirm you got 'the job' in writing! fom the new people then just leaveyour current job, dsnt sound like your current boss gives a damn about his workforce and there education! and training! which you probably need by law????!!

he needs me more than i need him, hes constantly bragging about money , spent £2800 on flights on xmas eve to oz but wont pay the lads that are earning him the money
