i got admiteed into hospital yesterday after getting gastroentiritis from eating leftover chnese in ians. been reall really ill but after 4 litres of drips in my hand and loads of jabs, im feeling loads better. curently on a "patientline" console at my bed. got tv, phone and really slow internet. it has a tiny qwerty keyboard on the back of the remote.

no chance. it is completely locked down. cant get web msn, facebook or games. too slow for video too. not even trying porn lol! im on a mixed sex ward with all old dying people. lost 2 last night and the family are with another now.

haha i know. it was cold chilli beef and cold duck in pineapple. it was sat out for 2 hours till i got there after work. i picked a bit while my asda rogan josh was in the micro.
i should know better, ive got my food hygeine cert!

c2rl, it wasnt reheated, would have been ok if it was but my curry was in the micro. that was painfull coming out!

Generally yes, but re-heated rice is dodgy - i have done it before but I usually put a bit of water in with it (to stop it drying out) in a sealed plastic contaner, and micro blitz it real good to kill off any nasty bacteria

Should normally be ok, when I have left over Chinky I let it sit and cool naturally (in a sealed container) then pop it in the fridge until I want it.
But as I keep saying - re-heating rice is a minefield - do a Google search on it!

ta carl. i was really suffering at home so went to a drop in centre and they sent me straight to a&e. after 3 hours waiting i was taken through and had the canula and samples of blood, wee and poo. hard to tell the difference between the last 2!!
had 8 pints of fluid through the drip since 6pm yesterday and this one is nearly empty so getting another after it.
wierdest sensation as that stuff fills your arm. it is cold when it goes in so makes onearm ice cold. hopefully they will let me out today. doc is doing his rounds now with the blood results from this morning

I've eaten re-heated rice many a time. In fact, I re-heated some rice and had it for lunch earlier...

doubt it was our food, me and ian are fine, we ate the majority of it so we would have had a larger dose if it had been dodgy.
i ate some more of my chilli beef when we got back in as well.
