Anyone got a solution for this? Tried Red Bull tonight and still fell asleep

Here's the story. I get up at 6.30am and leave just after 7 for work, get home around 8pm at the latest (go and see my nan for a bit). Have some tea and a shower but by this time i'm falling asleep. Some days i'm physically on my feet all day and others sat at my desk. No matter what i do i'm falling asleep. Got some MCSA exams to take, 7 so far, but i've not even opened the books.

Anyone got any ideas? Not going to work is not an option as they are paying for my training

The opposite of cramming your body with red bull and such like might be a help in that you eat more healthy stuff?

red bull and proplus together can work well, not good doing it all the time though.

Just keep your mind active, fresh air, etc. and you soon get past it. If not have a short power nap, then wake yourself up quickly (get up and active, fresh air, etc.)

Also, if you were diabetic, sugary redbulls may have a reverse effect, throwing your blood sugar levels crazy.

I find 'sugar free' redbulls do the trick for me, but sometimes if I'm staying up 48 hours or whatever I need several.

That then means i have less time after spending an hour or so cooking. Then there is all the cleaning after. I have some fruit everyday and drink quite a bit of water.

Normally i'll have veg twice a week, once at my parents and i'll cook it durind the week. Rest of the time i'll just eat pizza and stuff.

tbh, i'm thinking i'm ill.

You're tired, your body needs to rest. Don't fight it.

and i'm also like this when i'm doing 6:30am - 2:30pm shifts, luckily it's only 1 week in three so when i get home i usually mess about for a couple hours to tire myself out even more then sleep from about 5-8 then get up, eat, go to sleep about 11 until 5:30 the next morning.

Drink tea through the day. I had 6 cups the other day, and then couldn't sleep, even though I was tired.

When I don't drink so much tea, I fall asleep straight away gone 10pm.

And the point I was getting at, is that he needs to know how to stay awake. The key is sustain energy through the day, not try and top it up with Red Bull. So drinking tea throughout the way could help. Helps me anyway.
