dont get it. i got it free as i have asthma about 2 weeks ago. gues what?
i have the fuckin flu. what the fuck was the point in it. if it wasnt free, id be taking the jab back and wanting my cash back

I'm due a jab for pneumonia - can't have the flu one due to medical reasons...
just hope when I have the pneumonia one I don't get a chest infection... as I've already got one 
Nick - were there no nurses for you to jab back??

mild? my eyes and nose are pissing fluids out. i have the worst sore throat ive ever had which even means tonight i probably will not be smoking any weed. and thats bad.

they give you a shot of flu so your body gets used to it, And immune to it. In your case it just gave you the flu.

Its how a vaccination works, its an attenuated version of the virus! You are supposed to get mild flu symptoms when it is administered.
Trust me, if you had full on flu you would be feeling a hell of a lot worse.

There are so many variant strains of the influenza virus out there, constantly changing.
You cant really compare what you have now to previous bouts of flu as the comparison is irrelevent.
This could be a particulary nasty strain you have been vacinated agaisnt and thus the symptoms you are experiencing with the attenuated version could 'seem' pretty severe hence your conclusion you have full blown ful.
Alternatively, you may have been exposed to the full virus hours or days before you vaccination and do indeed have full blown flu.
However the attenuated version used for the vaccination will not have caused full blown flu, it doesnt work like that.

Perhaps you have been infected by a different strain? Each year medical boards get together and try and guestimate the most prevalent strain and vacinate agaisnt it.
Cannot possibly vaccinate agaisnt every variant, and I guess has shown in your carse a flu vaccination is not a guaranteed super protecion as the public seem to believe.

my only worry is, as im a driver for my job, that its actually not the best thing to be dong while full of flu at all. i cant take time off either. i had hoped the flu jab would have stopped all this
