Right, on a standard 1.2 airbox there is a red vacuum pipe going to the SPI box on top of the injection. I know you can blank this off. However, there is a black one there too, that runs off to the tb somewhere.
Any ideas what its for?

There vacuum lines.
Leave the one on that goes from the tb to the airbox.
Block the other one if you dont have the standard airbox, or connect it if you do.

What does the one from the tb do? As i blocked it up

It changes a small valve inside the tophat of the airbox, by manifold vacuum.
I just cut the middle of the pipe, clamped the ends with pliers, and melted them with a fag lighter to seal it

what happens if you dont seal it?, ive had my k&n on for months without it blocked off???
