Loads of people drop out at uni. My course started off with about 80 people on, about 20 of us ended up passing.

I dont understand people that go to uni an have no idea of what they want or to do. Ive always know what I was good at an enjoyed since i first started school. Its seems 90% of people at uni have no idea why they are there.

yeh I'm surrounded by people like that. doing geography, history or sports science etc... Dossing essentially... No idea what they want to do after, but meanwhile they have about 2 hours of lectures a week and only 1 or 2 assignments a term...

if that's not good enough when it comes to exams they only have 3 or 4 and they're fucking easy.

cunts.

I just hope the joke is on them when they try to get a job.

i have friends that tbh dont even know why they are at uni

I mean, IMO there are a number of reasons, but they can usually be put into 2 categories -
1) They go for a laugh to get pissed, fuck around and skip uni 24/7
2) Know where they want to go and what they need to get (aswell as having fun - im not doubting that)

But i have a friend or two that dont fit into either of them categories They are literally at uni effectively paying to sit and sleep, eat, watch tv and not go out or go to uni doing a course that most others could piss over in their sleep because it takes no effort at all to do the course

Crazyness if you ask me

Haimsey, why won't they give you a Tuition Fee Loan? EVERYONE is entitled to it, I'm sure.

Sounds like my degree The funny thing is for me, the joke is on all the people who piss around doing business. I can earn far more than them on my first job than they will, and it will take them a long time to catch up.

Thats what my mum and dad, myself and my brother all thought.
So for the LA to turn around and say they arnt paying the tuition fees was a bit of a shock

Needless to say my mum went off on one

I went to uni not knowing what i wanted to do.
Think of it like this though; stuck in a dead end job with no idea what to do, or studying a degree while not knowing what to do, at least you are showing that you can study to a certain level, it might not be worth much, but to me i'd rather have done that than another 3 years in a dead end job. If only for the friends i've made and the good times ive had, which at the end of the day is what life is about. Not everything is black and white. And yes, i did a sports degree, like i said, didn't know what to do, so why pick something that you have no interest in? I can't say that my course was extremely hard, but people have misconceptions about sports degrees, physiology, biology, psychology, sociology, research methods, nutrition, scientific lab tests, statistics etc, its not that simple.

I haven't got a job at the end of it, but thats mainly my fault, as i still don't know what to do. But at the end of the day, i wouldn't change the last 3 years for the world.
