Visiting family in newcastle over the xmas period.

fortunatly one of my uncles businesses is a bodyshop, and he agree'd to sort out a few dents/ scratches in my car free of charge

only problem is my car averages 30mpg, and its over 400mile each way lol..

wheras a train ticket is only £60 return...but i wouldnt get free bodywork



what would you do?

averages 30mpg is quite good, remember if your doing mostly motorway to get there thet will go up a fair bit.....get it done!!

still around £150 travelling expenses...


not sure how much it would cost, as if it wasnt free i wouldnt bother lol.
just a few niggley carpark dents etc.


could even pop over to boldon and get a shiny new exhast from dave lol (if he's open xmas time)

Spend the extra £40 on travelling, aim for 40mpg (I can get that ona long motorway journey lol), get the dents fished out!

+ last time i was in newcastle was 11 years ago, could be quite scary it'd be approx £140 in fuel, if i stayed 30mpg the whole distance. hmmm

do it, if the garage's work is of a good quiality i would fork out that much traveling expenses....plus you get to see your family etc over the festive period so its not wasted expenses at all imo
