I'd rather a mk1, mk2 or mk5 over a mk3 or mk4.

Mk1 and Mk2 are too old and i just wouldnt like one as a daily driver, and Mk5 is over my budget for the spec id want

I know a few people who own Mk4's (diesels thou) and they seem to love them, i would have a PD150 diesel but i do like 4wd ive got so used to with the S3
I know im going to be taking a leap down in performance but i would have thought the economy would be better, saying that, the V6 is a larger CC 2.8 over the 1.8 S3
