That is not a cool Plus, it gives Ian something to do

I get tons of e-mails so don't really want anymore. If your e-mail is pop3 you can only access your e-mail realistically from one computer too.

Not by default - would increase the amount of outgoing mail from CS which increases the likelyhood of it going on spam filters.

Plus if you want it you can just tick 'Receive email notification of new replies?'

Might make that configurable for prems same as u2u notifications are now.
