I'm sure someone put my corsa together in about 5 minutes . Its been the most unreliable car i have ever seen in my life.

Its now 3 1/2 years old and ive owned it for 6 months, within those 6 months all the following has gone wrong:

*Handbrake hardly worked, rear brakes had to be rebuilt

*Alternator tensioner 'rattling'. Needs new tensioner and belt.

*Headlight bulb went and vauxhall had put it in upside down and forced the clip shut. Took a garage 30 minutes to get it out.

*Steering column started knocking and it needed some joint replacing

Now after all that tonight it looks like my power steering has decided its going to die also. Trying to park in a small space and it go to the point where i could hardly turn the wheel with both hands. I drove it round the block but it got super heavy again once i had stopped.

So i think that means within 6 months this 3 year old car has suffered over £1,000 worth of 'failures'. Is this ever going to end?

my mum's corsa c's handbrake was shocking, it was hardly worth it being there. Vauxhall adjusted it god knows how many times and it was still as bad! Her corsa d is much better and doesn't roll down the drive, which is a novelty....

Not to vauxhall, but to a local garage after spending an hour trying to get the damn bulb out myself.

It was a big problem because the fuse box is right behind the headlight and the wires coming out of the fuse box press up against the rear of the headlight. This means you can only get the rear cover of the headlight off enough to get a couple of fingers in and then vauxhall had jammed the clip on by fitting the bulb incorrectly in the right place.

Just a combo of stupid things that made it near impossible to get the bulb out.
