I think it depends on the circumstances. There are a lot of aggressive and violent women out there, I don't see why a woman should be allowed to violently attack a man and not expect the man to defend himself

I once got myself in a situation in a night club. A couple were all over each other, the bloke was a inbred lookin chav about 5ft 8 and the mrs was a bit of a porka chav with the mr t jewellery. (you ge the picture) anyway they keep falling into me like right into me and after 3 times i say something. Not aggressive just asked them to watch what they were doing.

Next thing i know im fighting with both of them. Im punching him and shes hitting me, he hits the floor then i turn and grap her arms to stop her hitting me, he gets back up and comes for me, i push her away hard then turn and put him on his arse again then have to grap her arms again so she cant keep hitting me.

Bouncers came and kicked the both of them out, the bouncers thort she was my lass and we were having a domestic so they didnt split us up coz i hadnt hit her, then they saw him and realised what was going on.

I ended up with a black eye and bruised cheek off a bird

i just couldnt bring myself to hit her even in the heat of the moment.
