Not at all, but recently after discussing some things on another site, I was made aware how ignorent the English as with things to the world. I consider myself open minded, but i was shocked at some things and how what these guys said was right. I.E English not learning any language and expecting everyone to talk english (think about when u've gone on holiday, do you funble your english words to try to get the other person to understand, or do you attempt to speak the native language?).
Not at all, many Americans arn't like this, but the majority of them are im afraid. They honestly do think that America is the world. But then again, its also like some kids these days think that cheese and milk comes from the shop (i.e the shop makes it ). The UK is fast becomming like america, obesiety, rude boy culture, gangs and weapons. We've always had it, but its becoming far worse with the Bush/Blair love affair over the last 10 years.
Go view break.com, or the american comments on youtube really to get an understanding of ignorence.
