Matt

Glad you're alright mate. You've been lucky there. I remember driving home from PVS, had to stop at most of the services and try and get a quick 20 mins, then I was off again, within 10-20 mins I had to stop again. Took us quite a while getting home but it was worth it, I know something like this would've happened if I hadn't

you telling me you've never drove tired? either after work or a crap nights sleep?

That doesn't make it any less a stupid thing to do. I remember a Fifth Gear test where they found that driving motorways etc when that tired would make you more likely to crash than if you were pissed.

I've driven tired before and it's a right bastard.

I gave up in the end and had an hours kip in my car at a Service Station. Made a hell of a difference.

Never to the extent where I'm falling asleep. The only two times I would cite as an example were coming home from shows, one in which I asked a friend to drive and another when I was alone when I stopped and slept for an hour in a services.

Its bad planning and there is copious opportunity to rest during the journey. An hours rest would mean that you do not fall asleep.

I have never continued a journey when I've not been in a position to drive safely. Not worth trying to stick to schedule when the difference between a 3 hour drive and a six hour drive might also be the difference between living and dying. Its all too easily done.

I become ill on the way back from Trax this year which was very strange indeed. 10 minutes into the journey i had to pull over and throw up on the hard shoulder. Then become very tired. Every service station i had to stop and have a 20 minute nap. My mate (Jason T) was behind me most of the way home. Don't know how i got home in one piece, don't really remember much of the journey home but i had to do the 150 miles. If i had of found a Travel Lodge i would have stayed there!

Edit - was nothing to do with Lisa's cooking Was a bug i picked up..
