air filter n exhaust system really bud,

there are mods you could be doing right now like drilling holes in the bottem of the air filter box and remove the restrictor pipe in the box

on the 1.2 you are not going to get massive amounts of power, knew of a 123bhp 1.2 16v but that a few £1000 spent on the engine when you could get equal results with a engine swap.

1.4 sri for about £60-70
1.4 16v sport £ ???
1.6 8v for £100 and so on.

Induction kit will make it run worse more than anything and an exhaust system will just make it 'sound' like you're going fast.

I'd wait, mate. You'll move onto bigger engines soon enough and only regret the money you wasted on a 1.2. I did.

Looks like I will be keeping mine
They are fool proof to work on and are bullet proof engines, c16se I think a little better as the coil packs seem to last a longer then the dissys but thats nothing major.

Rebuild time
