For engine spec;
Rebuilt bottom end with new bearings/rings
0.5mm oversized pistons
Alloy bottom pulley
Lightened flywheel
Fully port & gas flowed head
New stainless 30mm & 34mm valves
New valve guides
kent hydraulic lifters
kent valve springs
Mild lift cams
ecote pipe
Unichip

Currently got yellow injectors fitted and FSE pressure regulator.
The engine overfuelled pretty bad when it was in my cavalier but i'm rebuilding it to put in my corsa so want to get the best injectors/regulator combo for the job.

The yellow ones were in when it had the chip. which was already done before I bought the cavalier. Ithink it was overfuelling as the inlet valves are BLACK after only 3000miles of being fitted. Would I be best changing back to standard pressure regulator? And could it be mapped wrong?

inlet valves will be black after 10 mins of driving!

if you are unsure of the fuelling, pay £40 for a power run at your local RR and ask for an AFR graph

Cheers Dave. I'm getting it on the rollers anyway but I was wondering as I dont have a big spec would standard regulator and say blue/beige injectors be best. Or as its mapped should I keep the Yellows?

if it was mapped with a paticular injector type, keep those injectors.
