Right my mind is made up about buying a Grande Punto but what is the best way about buying a car worth 9k?
- Dealer- Dont like the mither you get / you get a guarrante
- Supermarket - Heard bad things about them / the cars are cheaper
- Private - Scared of handing 9k cash to someone / Lots of them about though

I've bought both privately and from a main dealer. Private it was to a trader and you do have a few reservations as theres no real come back. From the dealer the car was second hand so the salesman didn't really care if they made the sale or not as they got the money from new cars so discount was hard.
As you say though, the dealer gives a warranty.

basically ive found a nice blue punto 1.9 JTD private its perfect from a private seller, in the auto trader nice pics and all that
im just dubious of such a big purchase with no real comeback
