its not really what the title says but is very similar - there is plenty of petrol in so it aint that
has anybody any idea what could be causing my car to splutter under accelleration?!
its a 1.4 16v v-reg sport
have done a search but there doesnt seem to be any concrete answers, if people think its sensors and things can you pop a pic up of the sensor in question and where to find it so i can have a check or change them

try cleaning spark plugs, change fuel filter

My old one was like this, did u have to rev it quiete a bit when pullin away? and when ever i got the foot down on mine it would splutter n not do anything. i was told that it was ma lambda sensor, no pics of it im afraid as i gave up with teh car and sent it to the scrapies lol, this may have helpd but get a second opinion lol

cheers bud - have heard it may well be this also - will probs end up taking it to a garage but dont want to pay over the odds to get something fairly easy-to-fix fixed - if that makes sense!! lol!!
