Big day out with the TVR club, first was of to clithero (sp) to all meet up at the TVR garage then off down to blackpool, only one TVR managed to break down but soon got it going again anyway pictures enjoy.

was a great day out with the TVR doing a respectful 15mpg

Engine re-build or doing a wiser move and dropping a LS2 or similar in there?

Looks like a Gurney bubble to me.
