Since the purchase of my ultimate detailing machine my dads car has been screaming out for a decent paint work cleaner and wax. Tools used were sonus paint cleaner on a sonus DAS green pad and megs techwax on a blue DAS pad. Wax was left to cure for about an hour and then dusted off dead easily.

Not a bad outcome for a couple of hours work. Would like to thank my mum for the inbetween cups of tea

its one of the most important times of the years to polish/wax ya car, due to the damp weather and salt soon to be on the roads.

iv yet to come across a proper wax that advises you leave it on
cheap polish is the only thing iv seen suggesting you leave it on
carnauba wax, which is basically the best wax you can get should be removed straight away

totaly wax dependant steve. high end wax should be removed straight away otherwise it pretty much glues itself to the paint. budget wax like the megs and autoglym stuff can be left on for a while which makes removal far easier
