£500 lads
Corsa you can have a built-in bike rack!
13:15, Nov 1st 2007 by Mark Sutton
Strong TV ad campaign for cycle friendly family car
Vauxhall has launched an innovative built in bike rack in their new range of Corsa models. You may have noticed the television adverts on TV promoting the new Corsa model, however you could easily have missed the 'flexfix intergrated system', which for an additional £500 comes built into the rear bumper.
The innovative system can be stored away when not in use, stashing itself neatly in the space usually reserved for the spare wheel. When extended the rack can carry two bikes plus accommodate the number plate and rear lights needed to make it roadworthy.
£500 may be several times the amount paid for a typical rack, however it has so far been given the thumbs up by testers across a broad range of print and online publications and is an convenient alternative to the woes of traditional systems.

You get a tyre pump built into the boot floor, with an adaptor for a football, like the VXR comes with.

Don't think you really need a spare anymore. Tyre weld does the job fine, unless you manage to totally wreck the tyre somehow.

The system is called 'Flex-Fix'.
It was first available on the Corsa (no mention of 3 or 5 door, a doubtful on VXR because of exhaust) and is also available on the Antara.
Here are some pictures on the Antara.

I have the new Corsa brochure in front of me. The light clusters aren't attached, but look easily attachable without tools. They won't take up much space in the boot.
It can only carry a certain weight though I believe. 2 road/XC bikes that are lightweight, and probably 1 downhill/freeride bike.
