Reet, this saturday 7 of us are going up in a Limo to newcastle. Going to be a long ass journey as coming up from Norwich but its a mates business so its not costing anything, just hotels when we get to newcastle.
So this is one of those, where to go? where not to go? and where the HEFFERS at kinda posts

Keep away from the big market as it's full of Chav's. If you do go, keep out of KISS
Ikon, now called Liquid is a good night club.
The Gate is good, Mood, lloyds, Players Bar, Sam Jacks (some lovely dancers and now strippers), Tiger Tiger.

Avoid the Bigg Market unless you fsncy a pint and a fight! Although this is probably the best place for the Heffers you seem so fond of
If you prefer a classier bar and bird probably best off heading for the Diamond Strip up next to the Central Station
For a good mix the Quayside is probably the best bet followed by The Gate
As for clubs and bars their are too many to name but a few of my favourites are Tokyo, Revoultion and Perdu around the Diamond Strip, Chase, Quayside Bar down the Quay with Beyond and Tiger Tiger in The Gate. As for Clubs this is one thing that Newcastle doesn't really do too well in my opinion mainly because of the volume of Bars, but at a push I'd recommend Tiger, Sea and Digital.
What ever you do avoid the Tuxcedo like the plague! it is quite possibly the worst venue in Newcastle and stinks of piss

perfect, im headin down to newcastle on friday, styain over in carlisle on the friday then will be in newcastle on the saturday.
ill be busking with a few mates on newcastle main street on saturday....so anyone sees us, say hello. did a busking tour in the summer and newcastle was one of the best places, so we are gonna head down for a weekend of it.
after that we'll be headin out that night..so this thread is useful.

I've been a few times with groups of mates and we never get any trouble in the Bigg Market. It's not rough but it is full of wankers.
The Gate and Quayside are alright but the Tuxedo Princess boat and the Baha Beach place next to it are shit, so don't bother.

The clubs recently been done out, the music's good and the place is always full of birds.
Granted when it was IKON i wouldnt step foot in there, always fights, stabbings, full of drugs etc but its not like that anymore. New management, new doorstaff i think.
Ive been a few times while it's been liquid, its no longer full of Chav's and there hasnt been any trouble.

Since it's change from IKON to Liquid it has improved very slightly however it is still the Chav capital of Newcastle and I personally thought the music was shit
