i was bored and have been thinking of doing this for a while as since ive converted to electric windows and mirrors ive had some grey bits and some black bits....
i have rubbed them down, primered then used gloss black,
i have also got some clear lacquer to use but im unsure if i should use it

Looks like you've done a good job with that - did you sand it to smooth or did the primer/paint smooth it, if you get me.

Laquer it, or it will chip easy and start to look crappy over time!
Looks a good job though

at the moment i have first
sanded to get rid off the pattern
primer
light sanding to get rid of some bubbles
then again a bit more primer
left for hour
then just sprayed black gloss a few coats.
now im unsure on what i have to do, either sand the glos a bit then laquer or just laquer
anyone got a idea?
