Doing the music for a fashion show production and im stuck for ideas for one of the sets - which is titled "Winter Wonderland" (models will be wearing outdoor clothing and boots).
Anyone got ideas for music, artists/tracks?
Been thinking about Bing Crosby or Frank Sinatra, as they did a number of xmas albums and covers of xmas tracks - but im not sure if using xmas tracks is a bit too cheesey and "Winter Wonderland" doesn't necessarily mean christmas. So after some good autumn/winter tracks i suppose, music that represents both seasons.
The set is around 25 minutes long, so need a load of music.
cheers for any helps peeps,

walking in the air??
excuse the cheese factor of matching the walking down the catwalk with walking in the air...but you could claim its artistic licence?

haha true, everyone is saying to go with tracks like jingle bells/winter wonderland by Bing Crosby/Frank Sinatra etc But i think it sounds too cheesey and not sure if it's suitable for a catwalk (in terms of how easy it's to march to etc etc).
Hate having free range over something like this, especially when they've given me zilch time to do it in and i have 2hrs worth of music to do
Cheers though guys, everythings being noted and will give it a go. So far i have Shirley Bassey - Get the party started (as used in the M&S track) but again thinking it's a bit too upbeat for a winter wonderland set.
Any more ideas would be greatful though

Use the VW golf advert version of the singing in the rain one (more of an autumn one ) but it's quite edgy the tune.

Actually that's a hell of a shout from me, just watched/listened and it'd work well for a fashio show imo just a bit short.
