Not that I want to rub it in or anything, but that's a pretty shocking amount of horsies

IIRC the 1.0 12v is 50bhp?

My old Pug 106 1.1 8v was 60bhp.

i know a guy that got just over 100 bhp with a 1.2 8v in a nova, some serious work was done

8v is bomb proof, bugger all will go wrong with it.

1.2 16v will munch its way through AFMs, ICVs, etc etc.

First car usually is slow, ill be keeping my dunger of an engine for a while, If i keep the car, ill 1.6 8v it.

Loads of headwork, cam etc
Carbs
Exhaust
etc etc


Really, really not worth it.
