Will they take back 4L of 10W/40 Castrol Magnatec un-used of course if Ive lost the reciept??

Bought it for the Mk2 & never used it. Cost £25...

They will take it back they have to by law with or with out a reciept and before people say you can take any think back it has to be from them they can prove this by scanning it, so just take it back job done

if you dont have a recipt do you have a bank statement? did you pay by card?
if you did they can refund you.

if you pay'd by cash, they can exchange to good to the value.

do not have to refund or exchange without proof of purchase
most halfords will take stuff back and swap it / credit note etc out of good will but its at manager's discretion
