I quit by basically stopping putting cigarettes in my mouth, lighting them, then inhaling the smoke. I took up sarcasm as an alternative

Ditto. Went to the shop to buy some fags, did the rest of the shopping but forgot teh fags, when i got home and realised i just thought, "fuck it, why not give up", so i did. I smoked at least 10 a day for around 8 years. Try reading the two books by Allen Carr though, they did wonders with getting rid of the cravings

You get a weird feeling as you walk by the shop trying to resist. Feel loads better now I've stopped

I had a cigarette a couple of weeks ago, for the first time in about 12 months, it was crap, won't bother again TBH.
