last month i rang them up and asked them how much it would affect my insurance if i lowered my car by 60mm, the woman said it came at no additional cost and did i want to add it now. At that time i hadnt bought them yet, so i said no. Now im about to buy the suspension and everything, thought i better make sure it doesnt affect my insurance still. well today theyve told me i need an engineers report, and a form stamped and signed Did anyone else have to do this???

Does it have to be a engineer?

Or can a qualified mechanic fill out the form?

Try making a claim with them

9 week later i have no car or payout
i bought the car the day before i crashed it for 3k, they are offering 2.4k
I have given them mutliple pieces of evidence to support my claim
they dont have corperate email address
they all work from mobile numbers at home
Therefore its impossible to trace anything
They are rude, dont phone you to let you know whats going on with the claim
Policy is not unanimous from person to person.

Would you like me to continue

well today again i rang them up, this time i got a different woman. she explained the form to me and what i had to do, although he was unsure who should stamp it as im fitting them myself, but she told me it wouldnt add anything to the cost and asked if i wanted to add it to my insurance. so i did, now i just have to buy them and wait

Have to say price is good but thats it...

I bought my insurance online, policy is in sisters name am a named driver. filled it in so payments came from my bank, car was reg'd to me etc

phoned up to change car on policy and they said it had to be in my sisters name....

then phoned up again to make another change and they wouldnt let me till i paid 2 months insurance... then they said money had to come out my sisters account...

why the fook allow me to take out a policy online if your just going to make me change it everytime i phone up... twats.

Thats life im afraid Hamish. I didnt get what I payed for the Ibiza back after 10 weeks. I had a "claims supervisor" who I spoke to once, they all have mobile numbers, they tell you its going to be repaired than say its bad news.
