who has done it, and made up a surround so that they look right in there without gaps anywhere?? i just got mine done, and want to see what the surrounds come out like please

i stuffed a piece of black foam up above the top of it. it looked spot on.

i will upload pics as soon as i get the chance, yes its the gte dash you use! there are 2 types, teh one with teh powerband (the common one) and the one with the power curve (my one - rarer one)

Just for reference, the smooth curved one is the from the 16v GTE and the one with the 'tick' is from the 8v GTE

thats my dash freshly fitted, still have to replace a good few bulbs, but that wil be done thursday. then going to get a sheet of carbon fibre from demon tweeks to make a decent surround!

i have to fit the glass yet, and adapt the surround. should be done next weekend! i will post up a small how to topic when its all done

after a bit of messing i had it fitting the gap properly, was plug and play straight in.
never got on with it tho, didn't like it so changed back after a while.
looked good if your into 80's atyling tho

How does it know your coolant level? (thats if thats the top left level)

it needs a sender, if its not there it reads max, same with oil pressure

yeah, the sender of a nova a will do the job. and you dont need the gearbox transducer, just get an f13 gearbox, the sender is on there ok its 15splines compared to 16 that come with most digi dashes but it works out at bein 1mph out
