Whatever your into r&b, dance, indie, hip hop etc

Post the names or even links to the type of music or preferably specific songs that are played in your local night clubs.

I want to make a few decent CDs for the car but im crap at remembering the artist names when searching.

Cheers
John

Havn't been in years, but Mondays-Tuesdays used to be Indie downstairs and chart dancey stuff upstairs. Thursdays was r&b shit.

Think its the same now.

As Scotland’s original superclub; the Arches is the stuff of clubbing legend. There really is no other venue like it in the world. With a capacity of up to 3000, the cavernous Grade A listed Victorian archways provide the perfect setting for a phenomenal production set-up, with a Funktion 1 PA system and award-winning visuals supporting some of the biggest nights in Europe over the last 15 years. Which is probably why a selection of top DJ’s recently voted it the twelfth best club in the world in DJ magazine.

Alongside the five giants; Death Disco, Pressure, Colours, Freefall and Inside Out, where the world’s biggest DJs regularly play; Pete Tong, Sasha, Laurent Garnier, David Holmes, Judge Jules, Erol Alkan, Green Velvet and Carl Cox to name but a few, the Arches is also known for its smaller, more independent and specialist club nights, such as boys-only night Burly and newcomers Art of Parties and Pink Noise, as well as massive weekly student night Octopussy, which houses a jacuzzi, swimming pool and bouncy castle.

In keeping with the Arches ethos, the club also has a strong reputation for discovering and promoting cutting-edge, new talent and has subsequently seen artists such as The Klaxons, Calvin Harris and Mylo grace the stages and decks long before they broke into the mainstream.

But whether an edgy, underground electro outfit, newcomer or world class DJ, as diverse as their sounds and experience may be, there is one thing they all share; the lasting impression of the Arches:

“The Arches is Glasgow’s musical heart – cavernous, debauched and a bit scary, like all the best venues.” MYLO

“I love the place… it’s just amazing, one of the best I've played anywhere." DAVID GUETTA

“There is only one venue for me to really shine at and it’s the Arches” CARL COX

My local was Amnesia and Space up until a few week ago. Gutted to be back is an understatement.
If you are wanting a bit of techno/tech house/ proper electro I have quite a few tracks.
