Depends where you live and how far you commute too. But yeah you can get by here and commute 30 - 40 miles on 15k a year.

Did you mean to say can't?

I'm only on £11k a year and whilst living it home, I still have enough for a brand new car and save a load too.

I could easily live away from home on £26k, if you can't, you spend WAY to much on random crap TBH.

yeah i did mean ...can't...

I've always said I just want to know that there's enough money in the bank to cover everything I want without checking. So far that's working out. Might change when I get a car though

Does the PC know? I know of a lot of contracts which prohibit any work being done outside of employment by a firm.

I'm in my 3rd month of being a car salesman at the moment.. I'm starting to look like I'll average around the 30k mark quite easily in my first year..

I live at home and my only exenses are my insurance and fuel! Saving like a mofo to buy a flat this year.

26k up here would see you easily manage on your own.. Even 15k you could manage if you are good with money..
