My car insurance is running out and churchill have quoted me 1,400 for a 18 year old lad with a 1L corsa, 1 year no claims, does any one kno any good insurance companies to beat this?

well im paying 1400 a year with elephant and im 17 with no ncb

1800 3rd party

I only paid 1400 FC at 17. Get on to Tesco or Norwich Union, they were the cheapest for me.

I recently got a quote for 18 year old, 1 NCB, mods (inc lowering, alloys, lights etc) with premium member discout with adrian flux for £921, not shabby

ive rang round loads of places and for a 18 year old 2 years no claims, 3rd party fire and theft, 1L corsa alarm fitted, and me as the main driver, 1375 with a renewal quote from churhill! gonna ring quinn and adrian flux 2mora bcoz there closed now

why the hell do people pay so much for insurance, in the past year i have had the following-

1st car- 19yrs old, no NCB, Nova 1.4 SR £875 with Liverpool Victoria.

2nd car a month later, premium rised to £1175 , Corsa 1.6 Sport

3rd Car, Adrian Flux, 1 yrs NCB, Astra Sport 2l 16v, £1148

4th Car, Same policy at flux 4 months on, Astra 2l 8v Turbo, same price as Astra Sport.

5th Car, still with FLux, 1 years NCB, 20 Years old, no immobiliser, Calibra 2l Turbo £1500.
