the missus car has now developed this noise. i know it is a common sign of headgasket, but this was only done 6 months ago. no other sign of headgasket going. only seems to do it whe nthe car is cold. once warmed up, no problems. any ideas?

you might just have a very small air lock in the coolant system, fords have this sloshing problem a lot,

thing is, i cant understand how i would have gotten an air lock, as the cooling system as not been touched for 6 months and has been fine up until the last couple of weeks?

I have this exact same problem, 1.2 8v, altho mine does it when warm aswell, sounds like a kettle thats just boiled behind my heaters as such????
Any ideas?
