What do people do when the wheel arch trim develops a gap between it and the body of the car? Any special bonds/glues?

Need to tiger seal my new ones , but I need to cut bits of plastic away first so my tyres wont fuck these ones

You should get it at halfrauds and places like that its about £8 a tube tho but it is good stuff
