Sadly, if it's a public place, you need a PRS lisence.. Technically, allowing other people to hear a cd you have paid for is breaking copyright, loads of places you walk in have a little "PRS" sticker, if they dont have that, they can be sued. This is why so many stores have their own "radio" station.

the whole "it's a public place" thing is a bit much i recon... does it count as a public place if you host a public party in your own house?
Or.. if you hire a cleaner or something in your own house, does it count as a workplace?..

my work has to pay a licence to play the radio throughout the building, and it's only contracted to certain times aswell...

how gay, we have like 6 radios in the workshop, one in parts and then the car radios are on too, i dont see what the problem is though as the radio station pays prs fees to play the music, so essentially prs are collecting twice

essentially what you have to bear in mind is
PRS = moneymaking C*nts..
|
