Mine cost around £170ish which involved buying a LM STyling Converted beam and just swapping them over.

I'd say not to bother but its not a hard job.

You can buy the plates or make your own. The tricky bit is getting the handbrake cables hooked up.

I prefer drums for those tight welsh handbrake turns. They lock up better

I wouldn't bother either tbh. They look better than drums, but you just don't need them.

the onyl reason people do it is for looks IMO, you dont need one, as a well matained normal brake setup is just as good, the rears only do 10-12% of the breaking anyway

corb still has drums on his LET, and it didnt affect his car on a trackday, mainly as his front brakes are well up to the job

i wont be getting a set-up on mine, and im not afraid of spending money in the right places

If it could be done for around £120 i'd be happy to do it to be honest. I have NO idea how much the conversions are though

1 good reason for the conversion...

I hate working on brake drums. Too many springs to go flying. Discs and pads are much easier
