Hi new here, i got a 1.0 12v last night. I've never been a Corsa fan tbh but i blew up 3 cars in 3 months and i needed a reliable replacement. So i picked up a nice blue 1.0 12v R plate car from just up the road for a bargain price. And tbh apart from the gutless 12v engine and floppy suspension, i've never driven such a good car. Plan is, is to keep the car standardish and get a 1.2 8v, 1.4 8v or a 1.4 16v Corsa next year and go mad on it. Maybe get a set of Irmsher wheels and a grill and get few marks and dinks sorted out but other than some I.C.E and that ill keep it as it is. I can't believe how economical it is i've clocked up 100 miles on a tenner, so im pretty chuffed tbh. And the fact i raced a 1.6 Saxo VTR earlier and beat it off a roundabout made me even happier although the driver must have been naff lol. Anyhow ill get some pics up tommorow maybe, but its nothing special lol!

I agree

For future reference, i wouldn't recommend the 1.2 8v unless you enjoy getting your ass kicked by everything thats on the road...1.4 sport though

Extremely
But as said mate, there isn't much point in putting a 1.2 8v in it. The only one out of the engines you have stated that I would use, would be the 1.4 16v. Welcome btw

Welcome. I agree, 12v's are very good cars, albeit slow.
For the record, on paper, the 1.2 8v is slower than the 12v
