i have known of a few of these locally,

my opinion on them is-
Quite quick, not sure on handling.

Fair bit of tuning potential.

Parts are HUGELY EXPENSIVE if anything breaks, and thats if you can even find parts. Someone i know paid £50 for a second hand clutch cable as they couldnt find one.

Awful interior.

Look pretty awful in general.

I would rather have a Pulsar GTir for that money, alot better car, more reliable, parts are more easily available as its the SR20DET engine in them that came in the 200sx's etc.

my mates got one. there expensive to tune, got loads of potential though

one of my other mates has a starlit gt turbo, its a 1.3 but its shitingly scaryily fast.

its 220bhp at the moment

he's spend a bomb on it but its worth it. well tidy.

i dont really know much about them but they are nice cars. worth looking into

I think there shit. There starting to get as common as saxos and corsas now. The new chav car, all because they go tshhh. And yes they are capable of big power, but depends on how much cash you have?

heres mine

http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=344557

spent lots of money to get it to where it stands, and alot more could go into it to go alot alot further! engine wise they are mint aslong as well oiled etc. clutches are the first things which go when powering up. glanzas have boost restrictions, (gt's dont) but that is easily taken off, but swapping hoses in engine bay.

check insurance as they are a bugger to insure. or you can do a naughty and insure it as a uk spec car, as on the v5 it dont say turbo. not great if you have a crash though or pulled over by police.

heres a vid of current progress to engine work
