You'll need to modify the sub frames if you want to use them, which ain't a big problem.
Plus you have the option of keeping the existing seat belt and tentioner as this is connected to the sub frame.
What I done was to remove the exiting seat from the subframes so the frames are left bolted to the car, then your left with four plates sat vertically with holes in.
The universal seats I brought just had runners bolted to the bottom of them, take them off.
Bend the vertical plates over until they are horizontal, I then tack welded two pieces of steel flat across the sub frame, mark up the holes from the bottom of the seats on the steel flat, drill and bolt the seats down.
I could have done it without welding the steel flat by just bolt straight to the seat, pinching the steel flat between the sub frame and the seat, however it makes life easier when drilling the holes if its tack welded down.
I'm doing the drivers seat on Saterday so I'll take some pictures as I go.
