£500 on my old XE Gsi....Needed new petrol tank and cannae mind what else, some welding and wee bits here and there.

i just got a call from the garage to say i can pick mine up an i thought £648 was a lot but 1k lol , what had to be done that cost that much lol

replace rear subfame bushes
replace rear disks and pads and calipers
replace 1 frontcaliper and go over other caliper
re-attach steering rack to subframe
fit replacement wings "suplied by me"

that may be it, possibly a couple more things i forgot

£150 inc MOT my car cost to put though its last MOT.

My car before that cost £240 (shitron AX), it only cost me £250 to buy it too.

just been an piked mine up an brakes are spongy as foook so turned around an took it straight back. dont now how they passed it the pedal goes right to the floor so am not very happy now

Only as much as the MOT costs. Did all the work myself on the Corsa, and so far the Ibiza hasn't needed anything in 2 MOT's!!
