right ive got a bank account with natwest, would they let me open another bank account without showing them id etc, i just want 1 for my bills etc, and before anyone says anything, i cant phone them because im at work

Probably not. I think they have to conform to rules and regs when any account is opened

I opened and isa with halifax over the net, and i had a current accoutn with them at the time. didnt have to show any Id etc.

no - kat asked for usnd they you need to book an appointment - so im guessing ID is a must too.

Or else you could set up millions of fake accounts to launder money
